Preventive Treatment

Both natural teeth and teeth with restorations survive best in an oral environment that is clean and where the intake of harmful foods is controlled. Our preventive treatment programed is designed to help prevent new cavities, preserve teeth that have been restored and manage periodontal disease. At the initial visit oral hygiene instructions are reviewed and are reinforced at subsequent recall visits. The following are helpful recommendations:

Cleanings and check-ups: the average visit at our office will be for your dental cleaning and check up. Cleanings are done with modern technology using high tech ultrasonic technique. Then you will throughly examined by one our doctors. Any following treatment will be schedule or completed on the same day

Dental Sealants: is a treatment intended to prevent tooth decay. A sealants is a dental material that is placed in the pits and fissures of teeth, in which to create a smooth surface that is easy to clean. Dental sealants are typically used in children who are at higher risk of tooth decay.

Fluoride Varnish: Is a special material that is typically placed after a dental cleaning, it strengths the teeth by hardening your enamel (the protective layer around your teeth). Fluoride varnish is a safe treatment, and is typically used in children to prevent tooth decay in childhood

 

 Brush your teeth twice a day in a circular motion with a soft bristled toothbrush aimed at the gum.

Floss every night in an up-and-down motion while keeping the floss in a U-shape and against the tooth surface before brushing

Avoid smoking.

Avoid sticky sugary foods.

Eat a balanced diet.

Use antiseptic and fluoride rinses as directed
